This is a question that most first timers will need to know. Well the answer is it varies from job to job. Some of the house or flats that we clear have some modern saleable items or some antiques maybe which we can then sell on later on so we take this into consideration when pricing up a property clearance. 

The largest cost we have on our side are obliviously the labour fees, for the team carrying out the actual job and then they need to also buy in bags, boxes, padding, crates and so on for each job.  Then on top of these costs there is the waste bill itself and disposing of waste in NOT CHEAP. It normally cost us around £300 per tonne of general household waste so this price also needs to be added onto the job. Then we also have other costs involved as in insurances for each job.

This is another very common question we get asked all the time. We generally take most items of furniture and things like ornaments and pictures, cutlery and anything else we find to local charity shops, either near by where the property is or one we work with all the time. We aim to recycle as much as possible and we only use landfill as a last resort. As its very expensive and also we try to recycle all plastic, wood, metal, cardboard separately and in the correct way.
